PFA Institute Honored as a Presidential Volunteer Service Award Certifying Organization
JULY 22, 2019--The PFA Institute is honored to be a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award.
The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals, families and groups who have achieved a certain standard measured by the number of hours served over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime. The PFA Institute will be a certifying organization and able to offer these awards to their mentors, students, and leaders.
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
The PVSA has continued under each administration, honoring the volunteers who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation.
We are excited to offer this honor to our most dedicated changemakers and trailblazers, and look forward to recognizing these exceptional members of our community.
